We have massive capacity for CD duplication! Here are this month's special offers for duplication, printing and packaging bundles. At Red Circle Media, we only use premium grade blank media. There are other lesser kinds out there but they can leave you with problems, such as the disc can't be read or eventual failure of the disc. There are lots of technical reasons for this occurring, which we can talk with you about if you're interested, but the end result is that the product doesn't work and we don't want to do that to your client. Obviously, you're going to need some artwork printed on the duplicated discs. We have: - inkjet
- thermal photoprint
- screen print
- offset print
All of these methods have their benefits and their pitfalls. We can help you choose the best one for your purposes and to best match your artwork. If you like, there's an extensive article about print on disc technologies in our blog - click this sentence to see it. For shorter runs, we lean towards thermal photoprint as it gives a nice quality print, especially for photographic images. However, it's not so good for large areas of solid colour. For larger print runs, we recommend screen print. The reason is that the ink layer is wonderfully thick and the colours are clean, clear and crisp. Offset print is excellent for high resolution images or anything with a complex tonal gradation. Show your artwork to us and we'll make the recommendation that we know works best. All we need to do to get started is for you to supply us your content either by sending a master disc to us or by uploading an ISO image of your master disc to our secure FTP server. We also need the artwork as a print ready PDF (i.e. all fonts converted to outlines, all images > 300 dpi resolution) and we're ready to burn! Check out the 'Preflight' section in the FAQ - it guides you step by step through the process.
