A big congratulations to Gigabyte on the certification of their GA-P55A-UD3 motherboard. According to sources,it's the first motherboard with USB3.0 capability to be certified by USB-IF (Universal Serial Bus-Implementers Forum). Given that Gigabyte is now on board and in production, it's going to be a short while before the population of USB3.0 enabled computers increases dramatically. If only there were more affordable and practical peripherals! Go here for more information and specifications. |

While we're still off on our short annual break there are a few developments I thought it prudent to keep you abreast of. USB 3.0 is gathering more momentum and the press releases from various manufacturers are coming through thick and fast. A massive range of different devices which exploit the speed of the USB 3.0 interface are being announced for availability soon. |

Well, another year draws to a close for Red Circle Media. This is our final business day for 2009. I would like to thank all of our clients and suppliers for their support during this year. We look forward to working with you again in 2010. Previously, we announced annual shut down from 23rd December to 18th January. We are shortening that break and will be back on 11/01/2010 as there is already much to do. So in closing, Merry Christmas to one and all and also a Happy New Year. See you next year! Virgil. |

We need to apologise to everyone unreservedly. Recently, we've had some very high server loads in the early hours of the morning and then again just after the end of Sydney business hours. The reason for the high server loads was owing to both incoming and outgoing projects and, in a few cases, being referenced on some social bookmarking systems and sites. During those times, the website became very slow and sometimes not very responsive. We're working to resolve this issue and hope you can bear with us while the upgrades take place. Thank you. |
